Handcrafted Headless Guitars & Basses Built in Germany

„My goal is to create instruments that do not confine the player, but spark inspiration – tools that allow the musician´s creativity to fully unfold and enhance the joy of playing.“

Modern Instruments. Thoughtfully Built.

Built for musicians who value comfort, reliability and attention to detail. All Henrix instruments are handcrafted in Germany and combine ergonomic design, modern engineering and boutique craftsmanship to create an instrument that inspires every time you pick it up.

One Platform. Two Instruments.

Both the Constance Guitar and Constance Bass share the same design philosophy. They combine modern headless construction, carefully considered ergonomics and a visual language that remains familiar while embracing innovation. Each instrument is developed as a complete system rather than a collection of individual features.

A Clear Vision Instead of Endless Options.

Every Henrix instrument is based on a carefully developed platform refined through experience, testing and continous improvement. Rather than offering unlimited customization, the focus lies on creating instruments with a clear identity. Selected adjustements are available where they genuinely benefit the player, while the core concept remains true to the qualities that define the instrument.

Designed for comfort and balance.

One Instrument as a coherent, holistic concept.

Made with expertise and precision.

Constance Key-Features

Ergonomics meet elegance: My “Constance” models are lightweight and designed to naturally adapt to your posture.

Stability and balance: Thanks to the headless design, there is no top-heaviness and the tuning remains stable, no matter how intense your playing is.

Optimal playability: Due to the multiscale design, the string tension is balanced and your hand position remains natural, which makes playing easier.

Consistent sound: The zero fret ensures consistent tone quality, even when playing open strings.

Easy handling: Full access to the last fret, for more freedom when shredding.

Precision down to the last detail: The “Riviera” tuning machines and the self made Henrix Guitars headpiece made of aircraft-grade aluminum round off the design perfectly.

Built Without Rush.

Some aspects of building an instrument can be accelerated. Others shouldn´t be. From woodpreparation and machining to finishing, assembly and final setup, many steps require time to properly settle before the next can begin. For this reason, the typical build time is approximately 8-10 months, depending on specifications and current workload. The goal is not to build instruments as quickly as possible, but to build them as carefully as necessary.

Details With Meaning.

The geometric shapes used throughout Henrix instruments originate from the company logo and form part of the brand´s visual identity. One example can be found in the custom headpiece. The engraved polygon reflects the number of strings of the instrument itself.

A five-string bass features a pentagon.
A six-string instrument features a hexagon.
A seven-string guitar features a heptagon.

These details are subtle, but they help create a visual language that connects every instrument to my philosophy.
